Keat , A <br />Community Developmen Director <br />FROM: Sasan Rohani ,(�_- <br />Chief, Long -Range Planning <br />DATE: August 24, 1992 <br />RE: COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR (CTC) EVALUATION <br />CRITERIA <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their regular <br />meeting of September 1, 1992. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Objective 1 of the Coordinated Transportation Disadvantaged <br />Development Plan states that "By October, 1992, the DOPA in <br />coordination with the LCB will have a set of criteria for the <br />annual performance evaluation of the Community Transportation <br />Coordinator..." <br />Item number 18 of the first fiscal year (1991-92) of the annual <br />element of the plan also requires that "the Transportation <br />Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB) shall evaluate the <br />performance of the Community Transportation Coordinator and provide <br />a recommendation to the DOPA for continuation or replacement of the <br />Community Transportation Coordinator". <br />To implement the above objective, staff has prepared a set of <br />evaluation procedures and standards for the CTC annual evaluation <br />(see attachment). <br />On August 20, 1992, the TDLCB approved the CTC Is evaluation <br />procedures and criteria with changes and directed the staff to <br />forward them to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) (the <br />Designated Official Planning Agency (DOPA) for transportation <br />disadvantaged matters) for review and concurrence. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The TDLCB and staff recommend that BCC/DOPA approve the attached <br />CTC evaluation procedures and standards and direct staff to forward <br />these procedures and standards to the State Transportation <br />Disadvantaged Commission. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously (3-0, <br />Chairman Eggert being absent) approved the Community <br />Transportation Coordinator Evaluation Procedures and <br />Standards, and directed staff to forward these <br />procedures and standards to the State Transportation <br />Disadvantaged Commission. <br />11 <br />SEP - i 1992 BOOK 87 PAGE 16 <br />J <br />
