This investment in <br />capital assets includes land, right-of-way, buildings <br />and improvements, intangibles, equipment, <br />infrastructure, and construction in progress. The <br />overall decrease in the County's investment in <br />capital assets for fiscal year 2016 was less than <br />1')/0 over the previous year. <br />In fiscal year 2016, there was an increase in <br />buildings and improvements and infrastructure, <br />along with a decrease in construction in progress, <br />primarily due to the following completed capital <br />asset projects during the fiscal year 2016: <br />• 66th Avenue expansion project from SR60 <br />to 49th Street - $22.8 million <br />• South County Intergenerational Facility - <br />$12.2 million <br />Right-of-way, 7.3% <br />Construction in Progress, 3.3% <br />Equipment, 2.5% <br />Intangibles, 0.6% <br />Photos of the completed South County Intergenerational Facility <br />Photos courtesy of the Indian River County Recreation Department <br />
