Szpyrka, P.E., Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Authorizing Resolution <br />for County Support of Oslo Road and I-95 Interchange Improvements <br />Financial Project No. 413048-2 <br />DATE: February 21, 2017 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Bulletin 15-03 requires that the local agency <br />governing board approve a resolution or equivalent approval endorsing FDOT delivery of Off - <br />System projects. The resolutions endorse FDOT's delivery of projects that are within the local <br />agency's right of way or local jurisdiction. <br />The attached resolution is in support of the Florida Department of Transportation, to manage, <br />construct, and deliver, Financial Project No. 413048-2, which involves the acquisition ofrights-of- <br />way, construction of an interchange at Oslo Road and I-95, relocation of 82nd Avenue, cul-de-sac <br />construction on 86h Avenue SW, improvements to 13' Street SW, drainage improvements, <br />reconstruction/relocation of existing roadways, sidewalks, curb ramps, pedestrian crossings, and <br />other related improvements. <br />FUNDING <br />Funding is not necessary for action on this item. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the Authorizing Resolution in <br />support of the above project and authorize the Chairman to execute the same. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Authorizing Resolution <br />APPROVED AGENDA ITEM FOR MARCH 7, 2017 <br />C:\Users\GRANIC-1\AppData\Local\Temp\BCL Technologies\easyPDF <br />7\@BCL@50052928\@BCL@50052928.doc <br />P138 <br />
