N <br />O <br />0 <br />voi <br />2/26/91(LEGAL)Docs1(0b) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-29 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, CREATING AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statutes, the County has <br />adopted Land Development Regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the objectives Is Housing <br />Affordability; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County has determined that it would be advisable to <br />create an advisory committee of persons familar with housing <br />needs and how those needs may be met to make recommendations <br />to the Board of County Commissioners to achieve the <br />objective of housing affordability; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. There is hereby created an Affordable Housing Advisory <br />Committee to be composed of representatives of the <br />housing industry, financial institutions, housing <br />authority and citizens for a total of 15 members with <br />membership and terms of office as follows: <br />a. Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; <br />b. Housing Industry - Ann Reuter, Steve Pate, Vern <br />Toulson, Tim Zorc and Jim Lieffort; <br />c. Financial Institutions - First Union - Lynn <br />Wright; Citrus Bank - Randy Reilly; Indian River <br />National - Charles Lavin; Harbor Federal Savings <br />and Loan <br />d. Housing Authority - Chairman of the Board, Martin <br />Wall; <br />e. Citizens - Charles Davis, Habitat for Humanities - <br />Bill Elliott and Charles Cox; <br />f. Ex -officio - Bruce Redus, Council of 100; <br />g. Staff - Christy Fisher, Guy Decker, and Tony <br />Brown; and <br />h. At large member <br />2. The committee shall meet monthly or at the call of its <br />chairman and shall be advisory only. <br />3. The committee shall be charged specifically with the <br />duty to submit a final report to the Board of County <br />Commissioners by 1993 containing the following: <br />
