Evaluate Refinancing Utility Debt- <br />The <br />ebtThe Board reviewed the following memo dated 9/2/92: <br />OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: September 2, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: EVALUATE REFINANCING UTILITY DEBT <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Staff would like to evaluate refinancing the County Utilities Department outstanding debt. <br />The evaluation will take into consideration Utility projects that need to be financed in the <br />near future. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is requesting permission to have our Financial Adviser send negotiated bond sale <br />proposals to the four short listed firms previously approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />A. Hough & Company <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (3-0, <br />Chairman Eggert being absent) authorized the <br />County's Financial Adviser to send negotiated bond <br />sale proposals to the four short listed firms listed <br />in the above staff recommendation. <br />H Approval of Bond for John W. Tigpin, County Commissioner, <br />District 4 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (3-0, <br />Chairman Eggert being absent) approved the Bond for <br />John W.
