SEP 9 1992 <br />BOOK 87 FA,UE 517 <br />1992/93 <br />AGGREGATE MILEAGE <br />1. Proposed Aggregate Millage is 6.9568. <br />Rolled -back aggregate millage is 6.7833. <br />2. Proposed aggregate millage is a 2.56% increase over rolled -back <br />millage or an increase of $900.173 above rolled -back. <br />Total County Budget $134,598,274 down from $135,263,076 an <br />decrease of $664,802 or .49016. <br />Aggregate <br />County Administrator Jim Chandler advised that the aggregate <br />millage rate proposed for FY 1992/93 is 6.9568. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved a <br />tentative aggregate millage of 6.9568 for FY <br />1992/93. <br />Solid Waste Disposal District (Non -Ad Valorem Special District) <br />County Administrator Jim Chandler announced the Solid Waste <br />Disposal District budget contains an increase of $332,374 as a <br />result of the full year recycling collection cost and funding for <br />services, such as the rate study and master plan. The overall <br />capital expense in the proposed budget has been reduced by <br />$988,300. The proposed rate for FY 1992/93 would be $35.32 which <br />is the same as the current fiscal year. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Scurlock led discussion regarding the revenues <br />collected for burning brush from lot clearing and the costs for the <br />deep well, and he was concerned that we properly allocate costs and <br />separate enterprise funds and not commingle them, and Administrator <br />Chandler and OMB Director Baird agreed. <br />16 <br />
