RESOLUTION NO. 91- 172 <br />\RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE TRANSMITTAL OF PROPOSED <br />AMENDMENTS TO THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO <br />THE.STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR THEIR <br />REVIEW <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the Indian <br />River County Comprehensive Plan on February 13, 1990, and <br />WHEREAS, the county received comprehensive plan amendment <br />applications during its July 1991 amendment submittal window, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency held a public hearing on <br />all comprehensive plan amendment requests on September 26, 1991, <br />after due public notice, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency recommended that the Board <br />of County Commissioners approve transmittal of the comprehensive <br />plan amendments listed as "a", "b", "c" and "d" below; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County held a Transmittal Public Hearing on November 12, 1991, <br />after advertising pursuant to F.S. 163.3184(15)(b)(1), and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners announced at the <br />transmittal public hearing its intention to hold and advertise a <br />final public hearing at the adoption stage of the plan amendments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT: <br />1. The above recitals are ratified in their entirety. <br />2. The following proposed amendments listed as "a", <br />"b", "c", and "d" are approved for transmittal to <br />the State of Florida Department of Community <br />Affairs for written comment. <br />a. Request to amend Comprehensive Plan Text, <br />including amendments to several policies, <br />tables and text of the Future Land Use <br />Element, Sanitary Sewer Sub -Element, Potable <br />Water Sub -Element, and Capital Improvements <br />Element (CPTA-91-07-0157). <br />b. Request to amend the Land Use Element of the <br />Comprehensive Plan for ±20 acres from L-1, <br />Low -Density Residential - 1 (up to 3 <br />units/acre) to Hospital/Commercial Node for <br />property located on the 600 block of 37th <br />Street (LUDA-91-07-0177). <br />
