RESOLUTION NO. 2017- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN <br />APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF <br />ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REQUESTING AN <br />EASEMENT FOR UTILITIES ON STATE OWNED <br />UPLANDS UNDER LEASE BY INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY. <br />WHEREAS, the 2016 Management Plan/Operational Report for North <br />County Regional Park and Airmasters Field (Lease 4490 and Sublease 4490-1) <br />accepted by Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Division of State <br />Lands on April 26, 2016, recited that planned additional use of the property was to <br />include of a temporary fire station on a portion of a previously developed parking <br />area associated with the pool complex; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that the fire station connect to water services <br />which are in close proximity to the property; and <br />WHEREAS, a grant of a utility easement to Indian River County (the utility <br />service provider) by the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund <br />of the State of Florida would be necessary in order for water services to be <br />available to the structure; and <br />WHEREAS, an application for the use of state owned uplands is required <br />to be submitted to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in order to <br />start the review process for the granting of such easement, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />1 <br />P16 <br />
