Board of County Commissioners <br />Meeting Minutes - Final May 9, 2017 <br />A short discussion ensued between the Board and Director Burke about additional <br />testing and monitoring that may be needed in the future, and the ability to provide <br />updates to the Board and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection <br />(FDEP), when necessary. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Chairman Flescher, to <br />approve Resolution 2017-045, amending the Department of Utility Services' Schedule <br />of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Other Charges, by amending the Sludge and <br />Septage Rates. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Solari, and Commissioner Zorc <br />13.B. 17-0433 County Attorney's Annual Employment Agreement <br />Recommended Action: The County Attorney recommends that the Board review the proposed agreement, <br />and decide whether to approve the agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign it. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />County Attorney's Annual Employment Agreement (2017-2018) <br />County Attorney Dylan Reingold expressed his gratitude to legal staff and made the <br />request to renew his contract for employment for another year, with the same terms <br />as the previous contract, with the exception of the change in salary amount to <br />reflect a cost of living adjustment. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Solari, seconded by Chairman Flescher, to <br />approve the County Attorney's Annual Employment Agreement, and authorize the <br />Chairman to execute the agreement.
