RESOLUTION NO. 2017- nfn <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br /> FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THIRTEEN MEMBERS <br /> AND AN ALTERNATE MEMBER FOR THE <br /> DEVELOPMENT REVIEW AND PERMIT PROCESS <br /> ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br /> WHEREAS, on June 20, 2017, the Indian River County Board of County <br /> Commissioners (Board) directed staff to draft a resolution establishing the Development <br /> Review and Permit Process Advisory Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 11, 2017, the Board approved Resolution 2017-070 <br /> establishing the Development Review and Permit Process Advisory Committee <br /> (Committee) with the membership consisting of: <br /> "The Development Review and Permit Process Advisory Committee shall have <br /> eleven to thirteen voting members appointed by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners. Each Commissioner is charged with the duty of appointing two <br /> members: one member shall be from the building and development community <br /> and one member from the community at large, but preferably knowledgeable with <br /> respect to some aspect of building and development. The eleventh through <br /> thirteenth members shall be at large members selected by a majority of the <br /> Commission."; and <br /> WHEREAS, at their meeting of August 15, 2017, the Board considered an <br /> impressive list of at large applicants and decided the Committee should consist of 13 <br /> members and one alternate at large member. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br /> 1. ESTABLISHMENT. <br /> Resolution 2017-070 establishing the Development Review and Permit Process <br /> Advisory Committee is hereby amended as follows: <br /> 2. MEMBERSHIP. <br /> The Development Review and Permit Process Advisory Committee shall have <br /> thirteen voting members and one voting alternate appointed by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners. Each Commissioner is charged with the duty of appointing two <br /> members: one member shall be from the building and development community and <br /> one member from the community at large, but preferably knowledgeable with <br /> respect to some aspect of building and development.
