Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: September 16, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: MISCELL&NEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 042 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />I. Budget Amendment to cover overbudget accounts in the General <br />Fund. <br />2. Route 60 Sewer Assessment budget needs to be adjusted for actual <br />assessments that were received over the originally anticipated amount <br />for the 1991/92 FY. <br />3. North County Assessment Revenues were more than anticipated for <br />the 1991/92 FY. <br />4. The county received more Federal Rental Assistance revenues and <br />incurred more expenses than originally anticipated for the 1991/92 <br />FY. <br />S. The Tuition/Registration expenses in the Police Academy Trust Fund <br />were more than we had in the original 1991/92 Budget; therefore, a <br />$40,000 transfer was made from contingencies <br />6. The bridges which were under construction in the 1990/91 FY were <br />not completed until the 1991/92 FY. We increased Cash Forward <br />and the appropriate expenditure account in the amount of $204,000. <br />7. Self Insurance budget needed to be increased for the 1991/92 FY. <br />8. Tierra Linda Streetlighting did not have the assessment in place for <br />the 1991/92 FY. Staff is recommending a transfer from the M.S.T.U. <br />in the amount of $3,500 to meet legal compliance for the Tierra <br />Linda fund. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget <br />amendment 042. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the <br />Chairman Eggert being <br />Amendment 042: <br />Board unanimously (4-0, <br />absent) approved Budget <br />18 <br />� � r <br />
