EOC will provide materials,
activities, and experiences that support a broad range of children's prior experiences, maturation rate, and
modalities styles of learning, needs, cultures, and interests. Children's progress will be tracked using the Florida
Department of Education Teaching Strategies Gold Monitoring System. At age 4, children will transition to
Dodgertown Elementary School's VPK Program, giving them two years to prepare for kindergarten readiness. Like
EOC's Early Bird- Indian River Academy Program, this program will not be funded with Head Start dollars. It will be
funded with local funds from a variety of partners. The program is replicable, scalable, and will leverage resources.
2017044 Page 3 of 26 05/03/2017 •
