Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final September 20, 2017 <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Solari, and Commissioner Zorc <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Chairman Flescher, to <br />approve the dollar amount of $37,491,634 for the Emergency Services District, and to <br />approve Resolution 2017-097 amending the County Budget Officer's estimates of <br />receipts other than taxes and of balances to be brought forward for Fiscal Year <br />2017-2018 and adopting a final budget for the Emergency Services District. The <br />motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Solari, and Commissioner Zorc <br />Land Acquisition Bonds - 204 Referendum <br />E. 17-0982 Proposed millage is 0.2955 (rolled back rate does not apply) and <br />proposed budget amount is $4,588,708. Open for public comments. <br />Consider any proposed changes to budget. Make a motion to approve <br />millage rate and adopt millage resolution. Make a motion <br />to approve dollar amount and adopt budget resolution. <br />Attachments: Land Acquisition Bonds <br />Chairman Flescher relayed that the proposed millage for the Land Acquisition <br />Bonds - 2004 Referendum is 0.2955 (rolled back rate does not apply), and the <br />proposed budget amount is $4,588,708. <br />The Chairman opened the floor to public comments, there were no speakers. <br />There were no proposed changes to the budget. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Solari, seconded by Commissioner Zorc, to <br />approve the millage rate for the Land Acquisition Bonds - 2004 Referendum, of 0.2955 <br />(rollback rate does not apply) , and to approve Resolution 2017-098, establishing the <br />tax millage rate to be levied upon all real and personal taxable property in Indian <br />River County, Florida, for Fiscal Year 2017-2018 for the General Obligation Land <br />Acquisition Bond Issue — 2004 Referendum.
