No temporary use <br />shall be permitted unless the community development director or his <br />designee determines that the following requirements are met. <br />1. Nuisance, hazardous features. Adjacent uses shall be suitably <br />protected from any nuisance or hazardous features involved in <br />the use through setbacks, existing buffers, limitations in <br />hours of operation, limitations in lighting and/or activities <br />or facilities/equipment generating noise, or other measures. <br />2. Traffic and parking. The use will not create hazardous <br />vehicular or pedestrian traffic conditions, or result in <br />traffic in excess of the capacity of streets serving the uses. <br />Any proposed parking and driveway layouts shall <br />be adequate for the use during the time and <br />period of operation. Special provisions for the direction of <br />traffic ingressing and egressing the site, and traversing the <br />site, may be required. <br />3. Public facilities and services, including temporary food <br />service events. Adequate utility, drainage, refuse <br />management, emergency services, access, and similar necessary <br />facilities and services will be available or provided for the <br />use, and all necessary sanitary facilities shall be approved <br />by the county health department. <br />4. Natural environment. The proposed temporary use shall not <br />have a substantially adverse impact on the natural <br />environment. No protected trees shall be removed to <br />accommodate temporary uses. No native vegetation shall be <br />cleared on the site for temporary uses unless the applicant <br />demonstrates compliance with the requirements and provisions <br />of chapter 927 and obtains a land clearing permit. <br />39 <br />Bam 87 oa 7,56 <br />
