PROCLAMATION A <br />HONORING TERRANCE SALM ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SER VICESIFIRE RESCUE <br />WHEREAS, Terrance Salm retired from Indian River County Fire Rescue effective <br />October 30, 2017, and <br />WHEREAS, Terrance Salm began his career on October 20, 1995, as a Paramedic and <br />within five years was promoted to Solo Paramedic and then Emergency Medical <br />Services Lieutenant as he continued his medical training including multiple <br />certifications from The Center for Education, Development and Research (CEDAR) <br />and by October 19, 2007 he obtained his Firefighter Certification becoming a full- <br />fledged Fire -medic in which position he served until his retirement. <br />WHEREAS, Terrance Salm has served this County and the Public with distinction and <br />selflessness During his twenty-two years of service, he received dozens of letters of <br />commendation and gratitude from his commanding officers, his peers and the general <br />public. His work has been greatly appreciated by his employer, his co-workers and the <br />citizens of our community alike; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIDER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />applauds Terrance Salm's efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to <br />express their deepest gratitude for the dedicated service he has given to Indian River <br />County for the last twenty-two years; and <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff <br />extend their sincerest wishes for success in his future endeavors. <br />Adopted this 30'" day of October 2017. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Joseph E.
