FL33414 <br />Phone (561) 79 T-3980 •Fas (561) 795-1693 <br />Restore power to both chilled water pumps, start-up and verify proper water flow through <br />the new loop <br />Start-up Main chiller plant and verify proper operation <br />■ Remove and dispose of existing Health Department chilled water piping and piping <br />insulation from isolation valves to chiller connections <br />■ Remove and dispose of electrical wiring from chiller back to disconnect box <br />■ Remove and dispose of existing chiller <br />■ Furnish and install new 2" foam glass insulation with protective jacketing to cover new <br />steel chilled water piping in new valve boxes and at pump connections <br />■ Furnish crane lift service to remove old chiller from chiller enclosure <br />■ Furnish mini excavator to open trench for new underground valve box installation <br />■ Furnish concrete cutting contractor to core new openings in both chiller enclosure's walls <br />■ Furnish transportation for old chiller removal <br />■ Furnish Indian River County mechanical permit <br />■ Piping and chiller demo work to be performed during the normal working hours of 8:00 <br />am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) <br />■ New chilled water loop tie-in work to be performed during weekend hours (excluding <br />holiday weekends) . <br />Pricing excludes: <br />■ Any work performed outside the scope as described above <br />■ Any work performed outside the working hours described above <br />■ Engineering calculations or drawings — because we have not had access to the original <br />-design or calculations we prefer that the county provide the required Engineering study <br />for this project <br />■ New chilled water piping beyond that described above <br />■ New chilled water pumps — existing to be reused <br />Concrete patching or painting <br />■ Temporary cooling for the facility <br />■ FAA crane lift plan — it is not anticipated that this will be required. If found to be <br />required we will address the extra costs for that item at that time <br />Pro osal clarifications/assumptions: <br />■ The underground valve box manufacturers delivery lead-time is estimate at <br />approximately 6 to 8 weeks from date of order <br />■ Because we have had limited access to the original design drawings or calculations for <br />the main chiller plant, we have excluded the costs associated with design for the new <br />chilled water piping loop. We recommend that the county contract their preferred <br />Engineering design firm to study the existing design and provide the required information <br />■ We will stage our crane adjacent to the chiller yard and will require closure of the parking <br />lot area while. the old chiller is -being removed .from the _property <br />■ The Health Department Building will have.no. air conditioning for a period of <br />approximatelytwo weekend days while the piping tie-in work is being performed <br />■ Proposed pricing will remain in effect for a period of 30 -days and can only be extended <br />by mutual agreement of the partes <br />P175 <br />
