"Sonny° Dean, Director <br />Department of General Services <br />FROM: Fran Boynton Powell, Purchasing Manage <br />lip <br />SUBJ: Award IRC Bid #3009 <br />Shell Material <br />County Wide Annual Contract <br />Bid Opening Date: <br />Advertising Dates: <br />Specifications mailed to: <br />Replies: <br />BID TABULATION <br />Stewart Industries <br />Ft Pierce, FL <br />Blackhawk Quarry <br />Palm Bay, FL <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />August 19, 1992 <br />August 5, 12, 1992 <br />Eighteen ( 18 ) vendors <br />Two ( 2 ) <br />UNIT PRICE <br />SEE ATTACHED BID <br />TABULATION <br />Staff recommends the following: <br />1. Award the bid to Stewart Industries as the lowest, most <br />responsive and responsible bidder meeting specifications <br />as set forth in the Invitation to Bid. <br />2. Establish an open end contract with Stewart Industries <br />with a not to exceed amount of $50,000.00 during the <br />contract period. <br />3.
