Brown, County Administrator <br />Michael Smykowski, Director, Office of Management and Budget <br />FROM: Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJECT: Declaration of Excess Equipment as Surplus for Sale or Disposal <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The equipment on the attached list has been determined excess to the needs of Indian River <br />County and requires disposal in accordance with Florida Statutes and Finance Policies. <br />As authorized by the Board, the items will either be sold by online auction or at the scheduled <br />December 2, 2017 live auction at the Sheriff's facility. The funds received from the sale of these <br />items will be returned to the appropriate accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the Board declare the items on the Excess Equipment List for 112117 Agenda <br />as surplus and authorize their sale and/or disposal.
