FXHIRIT "A" <br />WORK ORDER NUMBER 6 <br />REUSE SYSTEM EVALUATION REPORT <br />GENERAL INFORMATION <br />Masteller & Moler, Inc. (MM) is pleased to present you with Work Order Number 6 which provides <br />Professional Engineering Services for preparation of a Reuse System Evaluation Report. The work order <br />also includes design and preparation of Construction Plans and Bid Documents, if required, for the <br />expansion and modification of the North County (Hobart Road) Reuse Pumping Facilities. <br />The Professional Engineering Services in this work order are needed at this time to provide for additional <br />reuse water supply to the John's Island Community on the Barrier Island as required by a recent <br />agreement between Indian River County and John's Island Water Management. In addition, the Reuse <br />System Evaluation Report will provide an evaluation of specific portions of the existing reuse system. A <br />brief description of the scope of services and deliverables for Work Order Number 6 is provided as <br />follows: <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Task A — Reuse System Evaluation Report <br />Masteller & Moler, Inc. will prepare and provide a Reuse System Evaluation Report. The proposed <br />report will include the following: <br />1. Barrier Island Reuse Expansion — Evaluation of existing Hobart Road Reuse Storage and Pumping <br />Facility; Provide recommendations to extend reuse service to the Barrier Island, including 1.0 <br />MGD to John's Island and other existing customers; If required by results of report, design of <br />station upgrades, plans, specifications, and bid documents. <br />2. Evaluate existing County reuse system, including the following: <br />a. Reuse production, storage, and pumping capacity of the South, West, and Central <br />Plants. <br />b. Transmission system capacity, including evaluation of the current bottleneck at the <br />Landfill vicinity to West WWTP and also from the West WWTP to the Hobart Road Reuse <br />Pump Station site. <br />c. Recommendations for improvements, and related cost estimates. <br />The following information is requested from the Utilities Department: <br />1. Monthly treated effluent flows generated by the wastewater treatment plants from 2008 to <br />present. <br />Exhibit "A" - 1 <br />
