DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />The County has been petitioned by GHA, Grand Harbor Limited, owner <br />of the subject property, for the release of three (3) portions of <br />platted utility easements in Tract "T", Grand Harbor - Plat 4. It <br />is the petitioner's intention to construct a golf club building, <br />and golf cart storage building on the subject property. The <br />petitioner will formally dedicate new easements to the County prior <br />to this abandonment being recorded. <br />The current zoning classification of the subject property is RM -6, <br />Multi -Family Residential District. The Land Use Designation is M- <br />1, allowing up to six (6) units per acre. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The request has been reviewed by Southern <br />Vero Beach Electrical Transmission and <br />United Artists Cable Corporation, and <br />Utilities Department and the Road & <br />Divisions. Based upon their reviews, it <br />the applicant be required to dedicate new <br />County before any formal abandonment is <br />Records of Indian River County. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Bell Telephone, City of <br />Distribution Department, <br />the Indian River County <br />Bridge and Engineering <br />is staff's position that <br />Utility easements to the <br />recorded in the Public <br />Staff recommends that the .Board, through the adoption of a <br />resolution, release the three (3) portions of those utility <br />easements in Tract "T", Grand Harbor - Plat 4,. being those portions <br />described as "Parcels A", B & C", attached as "Exhibit All herein, <br />Plat Book 12, Page 70, Section 24 Township 32 South, Range 39 East, <br />of the Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. Staff <br />recommends that the release of easements not be recorded in the <br />public records until the applicant has dedicated new utility <br />easements to the County as described herein. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bosman, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff's recommendation and adopted Resolution 92- <br />186, abandoning certain easements in Grand Harbor <br />Plat 4 Subdivision, Tract "T". <br />3 <br />OCT 2 <br />0 <br />1992 <br />
