A public hearing on the pro- <br />posal will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 1992, at 9:05 a.m. in <br />the County Commission Chambers of the County Administration Build- <br />ing, located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. At this public <br />hearing the Board of County Commissioners will consider authorizing <br />the transmittal of these amendments to the State Department of Com- <br />munity -Affairs for their review. The proposed amendments are in <br />cluded in the proposed ordinance entitled: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHEN- <br />SIVE PLAN BY ENLARGING THE U.S. HIGHWAY #1 COM- <br />MERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL NODE (77TH STREET TO 69TH <br />STREET) FROM +-180 ACRES TO +-195 ACRES; BY EN- <br />' LARGING THE U.S. HIGHWAY #1 COMMERCIAL/INDUS- <br />TRIAL NODE (57TH STREET TO 49TH STREET) FROM +-257 <br />ACRES TO +-257.31 ACRES; AND BY ENLARGING THE U.S. <br />HIGHWAY #1 COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL NODE (VERO <br />BEACH CITY LIMITS TO 8TH STREET) FROM +-213 ACRES <br />TO +-214.86 ACRES, AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearing <br />regarding the approval of these proposed Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendments. <br />The plan amendment applications may be inspected by the public <br />at the Community Development Department located on the second <br />floor of the County Administration Building located at 1840 25th <br />Street, Vero Beach, Florida, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 <br />p.m. on weekdays. <br />NO FINAL ACTION WILL BE MADE AT THIS MEETING FOR THESE <br />REQUESTS. <br />Anyone who may wish to appeal any decision which may be <br />madd at this meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the <br />proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon <br />which the appeal will be based. <br />Anyone who needs a special accommodation for • this meeting <br />must contact the county's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordi- <br />nator at 567-8000, Extension 408 at least 48 hours in advance of <br />meeting. <br />Indian River County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />By: -s- Carolyn K.
