W <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: FINAL PAY REQUEST <br />KING"S HIGHWAY SUBDIVISION <br />IRC PROJECT NO. UW -92 -13 -DS <br />IRC BID NO. 92-99 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On July 7, 1992, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners awarded the subject project to Timothy Rose <br />Enterprises in the amount of $33,581.70 (see attached agenda item). <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The original contract amount of the project was $33,581.70. <br />Adjustments (which are reflected on the attached change order) were <br />made during construction, such as elimination of driveway cuts which <br />became unnecessary and a reduction in the amount of sod replaced <br />during restoration. One single short service was added as requested <br />by a homeowner. The net adjustments amount to a reduction of <br />$1,117.34, which reduces the final total contract amount to <br />$32,464.36. <br />The final pay request, including the ten percent retainage of <br />Payment No. 1, is $4,691.26. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners approve the attached change order and final pay <br />request to Timothy Rose Enterprises. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />the change order and final pay request to Timothy <br />Rose Enterprises in the amount of $4,691.26, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />SAID CHANGE ORDER AND PAY REQUEST <br />ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />47 <br />DEC 15 1992 <br />BOOK <br />
