Direct -or Keating commented that this unusual in the sense that <br />the property is already platted and consists of 16 lots which abut <br />I-95. Two of the 16 lots.are already developed, and the rest are <br />vacant. The applicant is requesting a zoning change to give him <br />more flexibility in the types of usage allowed. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, he closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 93-1, amending the zoning ordinance and <br />the accompanying zoning map from CH to IL, for the <br />property generally located at the northwest corner <br />of 16th Street and 90th Avenue, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 93-1 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM CH TO <br />IL, FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER <br />OF 16TH STREET AND 90TH AVENUE, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND <br />PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />17 <br />JAN 5 1993 BOOK 88 Fair <br />
