Tuesday, January 26, 1993 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida on Tuesday, January 26, 1993, <br />at 9:00 A. M. Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />Kenneth R. Macht. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Diane <br />Albin, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Chairman Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDAZEMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Tippin requested the addition as Item 7.K. <br />permission to attend the Regional Planning Council planning <br />workshop in Orlando on environmentally sensitive land acquisition. <br />Administrator Chandler requested the addition as Item 10 a <br />request for appeal before the Board by John Halquist, an employee <br />who was terminated. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the addition as Item 12.B. a <br />discussion of last week's Court ruling on the Heritage Village <br />case. <br />Chairman Bird requested the deferral of Item 11.G.4. for one <br />week. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously added and <br />deferred the above items. <br />Mom <br />
