September iZ, 1992 Dear Pat Callahan, (and -whomever else this may concern) We, the lifeguards of Indian River County, regret to inform you that we have reason to believe that a certain lifeguard, employed by Indian River County, is involved with the illegal possesion and smoking of marijuana while on duty. The lifeguard's name is Chad Summerlin, and has been working at the beach under the influence of "pot" and has left the tower reaking Of it's smell after he had been the only one working at that station. This has all been reported to our supervisor, but to this day, no satisfactory results have been administered. This type of behavior' is damaging to -the credibility of the lifeguard profession.
