Gentile, C.E. . <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing for the Paving & Drainage Improvements to <br />91st Avenue between 79th Street and 87th Street in Vero <br />Lake Estates Subdivision <br />DATE: January 20, 1993 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On January 5, 1993 the Board of County Commissioners adopted <br />Resolution No. 93-2 providing for certain paving and drainage <br />improvements to 91st Avenue between 79th Street and 87th Street in <br />Vero Lake Estates Subdivision. <br />This project is a Public Works Department initiated public <br />improvement assessment in cooperation with the Vero Lake Estates <br />Property Owners Association Road.& Drainage Committee. <br />On January 5, 1993 the Board of County Commissioners adopted <br />another Resolution 93-3 setting the date and time for a Public <br />Hearing to discuss the advisability, cost and amount of the <br />assessment against each property owner. This hearing is scheduled <br />for February 9, 1993. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />The project cost is estimated to be $199,764.36. The following <br />Revenues are recommended: <br />Vero Lake Estates <br />MSTU as approved in 1991 $180,625.86 (90.4±%) <br />Special Assessment ---19.138.50 ( 9.6±%) <br />TOTAL $199,764.36 <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />assessment roll and confirming resolution with changes, if any, <br />made after input at the February 9, 1993 Public Hearing. Revised <br />confirming resolution and assessment roll will be forwarded to <br />Chairman of the Board for signature.
