UW -92 -25 -DS <br />RESOLUTION III - PUBLIC HEARING <br />BACKGROUND <br />On February 9, 1993, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved Resolution I (93-31) and Resolution II <br />(93-32). Resolution I contained the preliminary assessment roll <br />describing the project and cost. Resolution II set the date of the <br />public hearing for the subject project. Property owners have been <br />notified of the public hearing by certified mail. Resolution I <br />(93-31) was published in the Vero Beach PRESS JOURNAL on February <br />15, 1993 (see attached agenda item and minutes of the above <br />meeting) . <br />ANALYSIS <br />Design of the water distribution system is complete. An <br />informational meeting was held with the property owners on February <br />16, 1993. The total estimated cost to be assessed is $32,236.00. <br />The cost per square foot is $0.090496. One of the lots -in this <br />subdivision on 8th Street is already on County water and was <br />originally included in the 12th Street Assessment Project. Approval <br />of the attached Resolution III will confirm and approve the <br />preliminary assessment. Additionally, utilizing the 10 -foot rear <br />lot line utility easements in accordance with the subdivision <br />regulations as stated in the subdivision plat requires maintenance <br />of said easements be accepted by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />The attached map displays <br />project.
