BOOK 88 FA -u 100 7 -7 <br />Upon Chairman Bird's arrival at 9:40 A.M., he requested the <br />addition of a brief report on the Treasure Coast Legislative <br />Meeting in Tallahassee on March 1-3, 1993. <br />Chairman Bird also requested the addition of an Emergency <br />Services District meeting for the purpose of formally designating <br />a Chairman and Vice Chairman. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Bird being delayed) added and withdrew <br />the above items. <br />PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS <br />A. PINTO, DIRECTOR <br />;% <br />WASTE DISPOSAL DIS <br />001(' <br />FROM: BAM ROBLFING, RECYCLING COORDINATOR <br />SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />SUBJECT: RECYCLING AWARD CERTIFICATE <br />JOHN GUILIANO <br />ff 4' •1 06 <br />In order to recognize individuals and/or organizations which have <br />Put forth extra effort for recycling in Indian River county, the <br />Solid Waste Disposal District initiated an Award Certificate <br />program. Certificates are awarded whenever such an individual is <br />identified. The awards are presented in person by the Recycling <br />Coordinator or other appropriate SWDD recycling representative. <br />CONCLUSION <br />Because this month's award recipients include a county employee, <br />John Guiliano, Building and Grounds, it is appropriate that the <br />award presentation take place during a County Commission meeting. <br />SWDD staff therefore recommends that John Guiliano's recycling <br />award presentation take place at the next available County <br />commission meeting and, to that end, that said presentation be <br />placed in the appropriate slot on the Commission agenda. <br />2 <br />
