Award to Pavemark Corporation based on sample <br />testing conducted by the Traffic Engineering <br />Department of both products bid. The low bidder, <br />Florida Transcor, provided a thereto plastic material <br />that after six weeks of testing was not as durable as <br />the same test on the Pavemark material. <br />2. Establish an Open End Contract with Pavemark <br />Corporation with a not to exceed amount of $15,000.00 <br />during the contract period. <br />3. Authorize the Purchasing Manager to renew this <br />contract subject to satisfactory performance, zero <br />cost increase, vendor acceptance, and the <br />determination that renewal is in the best interest <br />of the County. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously authorized <br />open end contract with Pavemark Corporation with a <br />not -to -exceed amount, of $15,000.00 during the <br />contract period, as set forth in the above staff <br />recommendation. <br />(NO CONTRACT ON FILE - HANDLED <br />BY PURCHASE ORDER) <br />7 <br />BOOK: 89 p4,� 11 <br />MAR I a 1993 <br />
