r ® � <br />Tuesday, March 23, 1993 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 23, 1993, <br />at 9:00 A. M. Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />Kenneth R. Macht. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Held, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and County Attorney <br />Charles Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />County Administrator Jim Chandler requested deferral of 7.H. <br />on the Consent Agenda, Award of Bid #3075, Water Conditioning <br />System for the Jail. <br />County Attorney Charles Vitunac requested the addition of <br />12.A., a Resolution Adopting the Final Preliminary Official <br />Statement for the bond issues on Utilities. <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of 7.Q., the <br />resignation of John Krupp from the Alcohol Drug Abuse Planning <br />Council and the appointment of Brian Gallagher in his place, and <br />the addition of 13.D., discussion of a bill which will be presented <br />in Tallahassee regarding Transportation Coordinators and <br />Transportation Planning Agencies. <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of 7.R., Appointment <br />of Ralph Monett to the Beach and Shores Preservation Advisory <br />Committee. <br />Later in the meeting, Chairman Bird requested that Item 11.D., <br />the After School Program, be moved up to 11.A.3. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously added, <br />moved and deferred the above items on the Agenda. <br />MAR 2 31993 BOOK <br />89 PAGE 97 <br />
