u <br />800K 89 F�► <br />, x.7.6 <br />RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FLORIDA ESTABLISHING A FIREARMS <br />RANGE ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 93-72 establishing a Firearms Range <br />Advisory Committee. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93- 72 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A FIREARMS RANGE <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br />WHEREAS, the County will own and operate a firearms range; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, important step in establishing and administering a <br />firearms range is the creation of an advisory committee to assist the <br />Board of County Commissioners concerning the location and <br />construction of the firearms range, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />that: <br />1. ESTABLISHMENT. <br />The Indian River County Firearms Range Advisory Committee is <br />hereby established. <br />2. MEMBERSHIP. <br />The Committee shall have five voting members appointed by the <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br />3. TERM OF OFFICE. <br />This is an "ad hoc" committee that shall terminate when it has <br />fulfilled its purpose. <br />4. PURPOSE OF THE COMMITTEE. <br />The purpose of the committee shall be to receive public input, <br />study and recommend courses of action for the Board of County <br />Commissioners to take with respect the location and construction of <br />the firearms range. <br />80 <br />
