Since the <br />North County Water Treatment Plant has not been built yet, this <br />area is served by the South County Water Plant. <br />With the most intense use allowed under the proposed rezoning, the <br />subject property will have a water consumption rate of 108 <br />Equivalent Residential Units (ERU), or 27,000 gallons/day. This is <br />based on a level of service of 250 gallons/ERU/day. Since the <br />South County Water Treatment Plant has a remaining capacity of <br />approximately 21400,000 gallons/day, the plant can accommodate the <br />additional demand generated by the proposed zoning. When the <br />subject property connects to county lines, it will be serviced by <br />the North County Water Plant. Phase 1 of the North County Water <br />Plant will have a capacity of 21000,000 gallons/day and will be <br />able to accommodate the additional demand generated by the property <br />under the proposed zoning. <br />- Wastewater <br />The subject property is serviced by the Central County Wastewater <br />Plant (Gifford). Based upon the most intense use allowed under the <br />proposed zoning classification, development of the property will <br />have a wastewater generation rate of approximately 108 Equivalent <br />Residential Units (ERU), or 27,000 gallons/day. This is based on <br />the level of service of 250 gallons/ERU/day. The Central County <br />Wastewater Plant currently has a remaining capacity of <br />approximately 537,000 gallons/day and can accommodate the <br />additional wastewater generated by the site under the proposed <br />zoning. <br />- Solid Waste <br />Solid waste service includes pick-up by private operators and <br />disposal at the county landfill. Solid waste generation by a 108 <br />unit residential development on the subject site will be <br />approximately 173 Waste Generation Units (WGU) or 513 -cubic yards <br />of solid waste/year. A WGU is a Waste Generation Unit measurement <br />equivalent to 2.9625 cubic yards of waste/year. <br />42 <br />_ M <br />
