WISEMEN, P. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINE <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: OSLO ROAD WATER MAIN PROJECT <br />IRC PROJECT NO. UW -92 -28 -DS <br />On August 25, 1992, the Board of County Commissioners approved the <br />survey, design, and permitting for the above -referenced project. It <br />is currently ready to construct. The project will provide water <br />service at the Oslo Road and the I-95 commercial/industrial <br />corridor. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Estimated costs are as follows: <br />Construction cost (including 10% contingency) <br />Engineering and design cost (including construction, <br />administrative costs, ACAD, permitting, structural <br />engineering design, etc.) <br />Resident inspection <br />Estimated total project cost: <br />$753,285.00 <br />35,000.00 <br />15,000.00 <br />$803,285.00 <br />The cost of the project shall be initially paid from water impact <br />fee funds. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends the approval of the <br />project, and requests approval from the Board of County <br />Commissioners to advertise the project for construction. <br />15 <br />L_ MAY i 11993 BOOK 89 m,;,499 <br />A <br />
