County Administrator REFERENCES: <br />At the June 22 meeting a tourist tax status report will be presented including a <br />draft ordinance, financing, and proposed meeting with the Vero Beach City <br />Council. <br />Acting City Manager Tom Nason advised that the City Council Is agreeable and <br />would prefer a meeting before the end of June, with which county staff concurs. <br />June 24 or 25 have been suggested, with the afternoon of 25 perhaps the <br />convenient. <br />The Board agreed to schedule the meeting on Thursday, June 24, <br />1993, at 9:00 a.m. in the First Floor Conference Room of the County <br />Administration Building. <br />COUNCIL ON AGING"S REQUEST FOR INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />The Board reviewed memo from Community Development Director <br />Bob Keating dated June 16, 1993: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: Robert M. Keating, AICPkfAY1 <br />Community Development Director <br />DATE: June 16, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: COUNCIL ON AGING'S REQUEST FOR <br />INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their regular <br />meeting of June 22, 1993. <br />DESCRIPTION & CONDITIONS: <br />Since 1990, the Board of County Commissioners has served as the <br />Designated Official Planning Agency (DOPA) for transportation <br />disadvantaged matters in Indian River County.
