UK -92 -37 -DS <br />BACKGROUND <br />On February 2, 1993, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved Resolution III, No. 93-23, for the <br />preliminary assessment roll on the above -referenced project. The <br />construction of the project has been completed. Customer <br />connections have begun, and we request the Board of County <br />Commissioners, approval of the final assessment roll (see attached <br />minutes and Resolution III). <br />ANALYSIS <br />The preliminary assessment was for a total estimated cost to be <br />assessed of $81,613.94, which equated to $0.113058 per square foot <br />of property owned. The final assessment (see attached Resolution IV <br />and the accompanying assessment roll) is in the amount of <br />$55,650.10, which equates to a cost of $0.077091 per square foot of <br />property. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the adoption of Resolution IV. <br />42 <br />
