K. 1993-94 Tourist Tax Funds Budget Adjustment <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated July 7, 1993: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE- July 7, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: 1993/94 TOURIST TAX FUNDS <br />BUDGET ADJUSTMENT - CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />Ile Vero Beacb/Indian River County Chamber of Commerce has offered to reduce their <br />1993/94 approved tourist tax budget by $15,000 (from $273,000 to $258,000) and have it <br />allocated to the Center for the Arts and Riverside Theatre for lawn maintenance. City of <br />Vero Beach has offered to do -the lawn maintenance for both the Center for the Arts and <br />Riverside Theatre at a maximum annual cost of $23,000. This $8,000 difference could only <br />be funded if we reduced the 1993/94 Tourist Tax contingency amount by $8,000 ($4,000 <br />from District I and $4,000 from District ED. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve $23,000 for the Center <br />for the Arts and Riverside Theatre lawn maintenance to be funded from the 1993/94 Tourist <br />Tax funds as set forth above. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />$23,000.00 for lawn maintenance at the Center for <br />the Arts and Riverside Theatre to be funded from the <br />1993/94 Tourist Tax Funds, as set forth in the above <br />staff's recommendation. <br />PUBLIC DISCUSSION - REQUEST FROM REPRESENTATIVES OF 35TH AVENUE TO <br />SPEAK REGARDING WATER LINES AND WORX PERFORMED <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated July 6, 1993 and <br />letter dated June 28, 1993: <br />17 <br />JUL 13 1993 BOOK t,JF103 <br />
