The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, he closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 93-119, providing for the installation of <br />T-turn-arounds and the closing of portions of 12th <br />Avenue between 4th Place and 5th Place, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93- 119 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE <br />INSTALLATION OF T -TURN AROUNDS AND THE CLOSING OF <br />PORTIONS OF 12TH AVENUE BETWEEN 4TH PLACE AND STH <br />PLACE. <br />Whereas, it has been determined that it is in the public interest <br />to install certain T -turn arounds and consequently abandon portions of <br />12th Avenue between 4th Place and 5th Place; and <br />Whereas, the procedures for such actions are governed by Sections <br />177.86, 336.09, and 336.10 of the Florida Statutes; and <br />Whereas, notice of public hearing was given as required by law, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />1. <br />T -turn arounds shall be <br />installed as shown on <br />Attachment <br />"A". <br />2. <br />When the T -turn arounds <br />are installed that <br />portion of <br />12th <br />Avenue between 4th Place and 5th Place, as shown in Attachment "A"F <br />shall be closed to all traffic. <br />3.
