J U L 271993 <br />BOOK 90 FA;F 70 <br />Each of these 14 criteria has been addressed by the applicant. <br />Staff has verified that each criterion is satisfied, with the <br />exception of criterion B.7. which can be satisfied via a <br />condition that the applicant enter into an agreement with the <br />county to allow other parties to use the tower. <br />15. Dedication and Improvements: The LDRs do not require any <br />dedications or improvements connected with the proposed <br />development of this site. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based on the analysis performed, staff recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners grant special exception approval for the <br />requested tower with the following conditions: <br />1. Prior to site plan release, the applicant shall obtain a <br />county "airport construction permit". - <br />2. Prior to site plan release, the applicant shall enter into an <br />agreement with the county which is acceptable to the county <br />attorney's office to allow use of the tower by other parties <br />when technically viable and feasible in relation to the Bell <br />South Mobility operations. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, he closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously granted <br />special exception use to construct a 280 -foot -high <br />tower with the conditions set out in staff's <br />memorandum. <br />Allen Gabriel, representative of Bell South <br />Telecommunications, Inc., assured the Board that this tower will <br />result in better communications throughout the county.
