ANALYSIS <br />BOOK 90 Fr�Gf.1J <br />As stated in paragraph 11 of the contract, renewal is subject to <br />satisfactory performance and completion of the terms, provisions, <br />and services by Envirometrics, There is a zero cost increase for <br />these continued services. Envirometrics has performed the <br />required services in an efficient and prompt manner, providing <br />the necessary data in order that the County may meet State and <br />Federal requirements. Their staff has demonstrated its technical <br />expertise and has always been available for consultation <br />concerning their reports. Inspection of their laboratory during <br />this time period has found it to be well maintained, the <br />equipment properly calibrated, their laboratory personnel well <br />qualified, and the necessary quality control procedures for <br />laboratory sampling to be in effect. <br />CONCLUSION <br />The SWDD staff, believing •it to be in the best interest of the <br />County, requests that the Board approve and authorize the <br />extension of this contract with Envirometrics, Inc. for an <br />additional year. <br />Commissioner Adams asked, and Utility Services Director Terry <br />Pinto responded that the amounts of the contract are $58,000 for <br />the landfill and $56,000 total for Utilities. - <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />extension of the November 3, 1992, contract with <br />Envirometrics, Inc., for an additional year. <br />SAID EXTENSION <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />K.
