UNIT SIZE: <br />Main Building Units: 400 sq. ft. <br />Oceanfront Villas: 1,225 sq. ft. <br />Lakeside Villas: 1,250 sq. ft. <br />Beach Cottages: 2,200 sq. ft. <br />Lake Cottages: 2,200 sq. ft. <br />Lock -Off Units: 375 sq. ft. <br />Note: The square footage figures are approximate since <br />construction drawings have not been approved. All proposed <br />lock -off units will be in the Oceanfront Villas, and all lock - <br />off units will contain cooking and bathing facilities and will <br />have access to on-site laundry facilities as required in the <br />residential.resort specific land use criteria. <br />7. Building Height: During its initial review of the project, <br />staff asked the applicant to demonstrate that the conceptual <br />plan building elevations comply with the county's height <br />requirements. Two requirements apply to the Disney project: <br />a 35' maximum building height requirement applies to most of <br />the project; however, a special 45' maximum building height <br />requirement is applied to all commercially zoned parcels <br />located east of S.R. A -1-A for buildings which are set back an <br />extra distance from the CCCL (Coastal Construction Control <br />Line). The applicant has provided the extra setback from the <br />CCCL for the main building which is located east of S.R. A -1-A <br />in the CG zoning district. Thus, the 45' maximum building <br />height requirement applies to the proposed main building. The <br />applicant's architect has conducted several extensive studies <br />to document that all of the proposed project buildings meet <br />the applicable 35' and 45' maximum building height <br />requirements as applied to sloped roof structures. <br />S. PROPOSED USES: There will be certain commercial uses that are <br />open to the public and certain uses accessory to both the <br />lodging facility (main building located in the CG district) <br />and the residential resort units.
