Keating, AICPA`'-A�/j� <br />' <br />Community Development Director <br />DATE: September 8, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: LAND ACQUISITION ISSUES <br />RAISED BY CARROLL PALMER <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their regular <br />meeting of September 141 1993. <br />DESCRIPTION & CONDITIONS: <br />Recently, the Board of County Commissioners received a letter from <br />Carroll Palmer, President of the Indian River County Taxpayers <br />Association, regarding the County's environmentally significant <br />land acquisition program in general and the Oslo Riverfront <br />Property acquisition in particular. This is at least the fifth <br />letter that Mr. Palmer has written regarding the Oslo Riverfront <br />Property. <br />Because of Mr. Palmer's continuing correspondence, it is staff's <br />position that the Board should address Mr. Palmer's concerns.
