"D " OST , P.E. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: FLORA LANE WATER MAIN EXTENSION <br />IRC PROJECT NO. UW -92 -30 -DS <br />FINAL PAY REQUEST <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On January 12, 1993, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved the subject project in the amount of <br />$44,569.89. Construction of the subject project has been completed, <br />and the contractor, Timothy Rose Enterprises of Vero Beach, Florida, <br />has made application for final payment (see attached). <br />ANALYSIS: <br />All Indian River County requirements have been met, final <br />certification has been submitted to the Department of Environmental <br />Protection, and clearance has been received. <br />The original contract price was $27,016.27, and the final contract <br />price remains unchanged. The contractor has previously billed <br />$24,314.65, leaving a balance of $2,701.62. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends approval of the <br />payment request of $2,701.62 as payment in full for services <br />rendered. - <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />the final payment to Timothy Rose Enterprises of <br />Vero Beach in the amount of $2,701.62, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />25 <br />NOV i 61993 BOOK 91 PAGE 29 <br />
