r NOV <br />23 1993 BOOK 91 PAGE 88 <br />ANALYSIS <br />The subdivision contains 20 lots with 10 existing homes and 10 <br />vacant lots. Seven owners of the existing homes and one vacant lot <br />owner have signed the attached petition. This represents 70% of the <br />homeowners, plus an owner of one vacant lot. These homeowners <br />describe their water as below drinking water quality. The lots in <br />this project are typically one-half acre, or slightly more. The <br />attached map displays the area to benefit from the assessment <br />project. <br />Attached are Resolutions I and II for the assessment project. The <br />total estimated cost to be assessed is $34,059.48. The cost per <br />square foot is $0.07167776082. <br />This project is to be funded through the assessment of property <br />owners along the proposed water line route. - In the interim, <br />financing will•be through the use of impact fee funds. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the attached Resolutions which <br />approve the preliminary assessment roll and establish the public <br />hearing date. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 93-203, providing for water main <br />extension to Green Acres Estates (47th Avenue S.W. <br />south off 9th Street S.W., as recommended by staff. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 93-204, setting 9:05 a.m. on Tuesday, <br />January 11, 1994, in the County Commission Chambers <br />as the time and place at which the owners of <br />properties located generally in the area of Green <br />Acres Estates (47th Avenue S.W., south off 9th <br />Street S.W.) may appear before the Board and be <br />heard regarding the contruction of a water main, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />52 - <br />� � r <br />
