RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommend the Board <br />of County Commissioners approve the outlined action. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously authorized <br />the transfer of funds from the Utilities impact fee <br />fund to the Public Works contract account, as set <br />out in staff's memorandum. <br />NEW ETHICS ORDINANCE <br />County Attorney Charles Vitunac commented from the following <br />memo and attachment dated January 21, 1994: <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />FROM: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: January 21, 1994 <br />RE: New Ethics ordinance (3rd revision) <br />On January 18, 1994, Commissioner Macht presented a draft ethics <br />ordinance and asked that the item be placed on the January 25 agenda for <br />discussion. The attached version is revision no. 3 and replaces the <br />versions of January 18 and 19. <br />This matter is presented for consideration by the Board and if the Board <br />so desires the ordinance can be scheduled for a public hearing in the <br />immediate future. <br />ATTACHMENT "A" <br />Section 104.05. Code of Ethics and Conduct. <br />(1) This Code of Ethics is in addition to the requirements of Chapter <br />112, Florida Statutes. Where there is a conflict between Chapter 112, <br />F.S. and this code the more stringent requirement shall apply. <br />(2) This code shall apply to county commissioners and county officers. <br />The term "person" includes commissioners and county officers.
