ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously agreed to <br />postpone the official opening of the new Courthouse <br />until October 1, 1994._ <br />Commissioner Macht then -asked the Board's permission for the <br />Courthouse Advisory Committee to set up a subcommittee to <br />coordinate the opening ceremony. <br />The consensus of the Board was that the subcommittee should <br />include a representative of each of the constitutional officers <br />that will be occupying the building, a representative from the <br />State Attorney's office, a representative of the judges, <br />Commissioner Macht, and other appropriate persons as determined by <br />the Courthouse Advisory Committee. <br />Commissioner Bird suggested that we schedule a day prior to <br />the official opening for the public to be given a tour of the <br />building. <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />The Chairman announced that immediately upon adjournment the <br />Board would reconvene sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the <br />Emergency Services District. Those minutes are being prepared <br />separately. <br />There being no further business, on Motion duly made, seconded <br />and carried, the Board adjourned at 12:16 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />J. arton, Clerk John W.
