We will be visiting with the other engineers involved, <br />but our position is that we are not willing to delay the project <br />for any long-term type of study due to the severity of beach <br />erosion in some areas. However, Dr. Dean has given us a very good <br />proposal, cost -wise, and the offer that we may send our engineers <br />to do the modelling and study. <br />Commissioner Adams advised that Kirby Green has said we will <br />get the permit, the only question is when. We have been asked to <br />answer additional questions, but she wondered when the questions <br />will stop. There is cooperation between counties through FACo. It <br />looks good, we are moving forward, and the Beach & Shore Committee <br />may bring a recommendation to the Board next week. <br />Chairman Tippin commended Commissioner Adams for all her <br />efforts in behalf of getting the P.E.P. reef permitted. <br />SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT MEETING <br />Chairman Tippin announced that immediately upon adjournment of <br />this meeting, the Board would reconvene sitting as the Board of <br />Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District.
