Members of the "HAM" operators organizations, Vero Beach High School <br />ROTC units, and uniformed Rotary Club members will be stationed all <br />along the route to ensure visual and radio contact and positive traffic <br />control at all times. <br />The race is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:00 AM and will be <br />concluded between 11:00 and 11:30 AM. <br />ALT�LTATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The request for approval from the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners to hold the 4th Annual Sunrise Bicycle Classic on Saturday <br />morning, April 9, 1994 is the proposal before the Board at this time. <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve this <br />request based upon the success of the last three years events and the <br />fact that the exact same route and procedures are to be followed this <br />year. In addition, the Rotary Club will need to secure a right-of-way <br />permit from Indian River County and the Floridan Department of <br />Transportation. <br />Liaison activities will be maintained between the race committee, Indian <br />River County Sheriff's Department, City of Vero Beach Police Department <br />and Indian River County Traffic Engineering. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />the 4th Annual Sunrise Bicycle Classic as set out in <br />staff's memorandum. <br />PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT - 49TH STREET (LINDSEY <br />ROAD) STORMWATER PERMIT <br />The Board reviewed memo from Public Works Director Jim Davis <br />dated February 22, 1994: <br />TO: James E.
