ANALYSIS: <br />The required subdivision improvements have not been completed by <br />the developer; however, the developer has obtained a land <br />development permit for construction of the subdivision. The <br />developer desires to proceed with recording the subdivision plat <br />and proposes to "bond -out" for construction of required subdivision <br />improvements pursuant to provisions of land development regulations <br />(LDRs) section 913.10. The developer has submitted a Contract for <br />Construction of required subdivision improvements and posted <br />suitable security, approved by the County Attorney's Office, to <br />guarantee the Contract. The contract is to be executed by the <br />developer prior to the March 15th Board meeting date. With these <br />documents, the developer has -complied with the appropriate <br />requirements to obtain final plat approval. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant final <br />plat approval for St. Andrews Island, authorize the Chairman to <br />execute the Contract for Construction, and accept the posted <br />security to guarantee the Contract for Construction. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously granted <br />final plat approval for St. Andrews Island (Pod C), <br />Grand Harbor, and accepted the posted security to <br />guarantee the Contract for Construction, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />F.
