REQUEST FOR GRADING 100TH COURT — VERO LAKE ESTATES <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 3/2/94: <br />TO: James E. Chandler, <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Request for Grading 100th Court between 83rd <br />Street and 81St Street in Vero Lake Estates <br />Subdivision <br />REF. LETTER: Matthew Achin to "Whom It May <br />Concern" received Jan 13, 1994 <br />DATE: March 2, 1994 FILE: iooMA= <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />During the regular May 15, 1991 meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, <br />staff recommended that the County assume grading of approximately 13 miles of <br />additional unpaved roads in the Vero Lake Estates Subdivision. Various roads <br />have been added since that time with the approval of the Board. <br />At this time, various property owners along 100th Court between 81st Street <br />and 83rd Street have requested that the County grade 100th Court in Vero -Lake <br />Estates Subdivision. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Staff has reviewed these requests and performed the standard numerical <br />evaluation of criteria for acceptance of grading unimproved roads. Staff <br />usually recommends that a minimum of 75 points be assigned to justify <br />grading. In this case, a minimum of 85 points was assigned. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />- Since the minimum of 85 points was met, staff recommends the addition of _ <br />100th Court between 81st Street and 83rd Street be added to the grading route <br />in Vero Lake Estates. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously approved <br />the addition of 100th Court between 81st and 83rd <br />Streets to the grading route in Vero Lake Estates, <br />as recommended by staff. <br />23 <br />BAR 1994 BCox 91 F'�GE995 <br />
