Finney, SRA'. <br />County Right -of -Way Agent CONSENT AGENDA <br />BUWZCT: 53th Street Right -of -Way Acquisition; Alfred Scopinich <br />(U.S. #1 to Old Dixie Hwy.) <br />DATE: March 14, 1994 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Indian River County has an existing thirty foot (301) right-of-way <br />on 53rd Street between U.S. Highway #1 and Old Dixie Highway. <br />Sixty feet (601) of Additional right-of-way is needed to be able to <br />pave the existing dirt road, as necessitated by the connection of <br />Indian River Boulevard to 53rd Street. <br />The property owner has executed a contract at $29,000 for the 601 <br />x 270' right-of-way needed. The owner has also executed the deed <br />which is being held in trust until closing. An appraisal was <br />prepared and the value is justified (copy attached). <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />County staff requests the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />purchase and direct the Chairman to execute the contract. <br />FUNDING <br />Account No. 101-154-541-067.42 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, .the Board unanimously approved <br />the Contract for Sale and Purchase with Alfred P. <br />Scopinich for the Ackers Family Trust in the amount <br />of $29,000 for right-of-way on the north side of <br />53rd Street between U.S.#1 and Old Dixie Highway, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />CONTRACT FOR SALE AND PURCHASE <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />7 <br />MAR <br />BooK 91 PAr,4012- <br />
